Thursday

Orchestra rehearsal was so fun this afternoon because the artist series concert is tomorrow evening, so the SMS men's choir was at the rehearsal today to rehearse with us.  It was amazing.  Tomorrow night will be grand.

I got a big old birthday package in the mail today from my family and three personal letters.  That is almost unheard of (at least for me).

I drank a Raspberry Cheesecake Cafe a late (sp?) at the Daily Grind this afternoon during my keys meeting.  It is such a happy thought that I thought I would share it.

drip, drip, drop...

We're having a very rainy and cold Wisconsin autumn, so I felt like doing a gloomy theme for a while.  It's raining right now.  I'm going to dinner in about a half hour, then I will attend the prayer service on campus.  I took test last week and this week, and they turned out pretty well.  I could have/should have done a little better.  My best score was in Greek.  Go figure.  I really have learned so much this semester.  I love going to class each day and learning from my professors.  I really should just audit college, : ) but that would be very lazy.  I think I will try to audit at least one class each semester from now on just to get in on more teaching.

As much as I do love going to classes....... I'm still glad that there is no class tomorrow!  Dr. Olsen declared it to be a day of rest.  I'm looking foward to sleeping in, taking a walk in the woods, spending time with friends, spending time with God, and yes, actually doing some homework.

Have a good Wednesday!

It's Saturday!

WOAH! Long time, no post.  I tell you, I am not made for blogging and it was not made for me, but nevertheless, here's a little something to let you know I'm alive.

Life is going well at NBBC.  I should be studying right now because it is Saturday, but instead I am blogging and doing other unecessary things because it is Saturday.  I'm going to the women's soccer game at 1:00 and the WVB game at 2:00. The WVB team beat Pillsbury last night (what say you, Holly?).  It was a good game though. I was impressed by the Pills team.

Randomness:

It's not Missouri, but I really do like Wisconson.  The three-hour drive to extension goes quickly this time of year, bucause everything is so glorious outside.

Happy Birthday Nicole!

I was just listening to Beauty and the Beast soundtrack.

I talked to my bro Daniel on the phone last night, and that was a blast.  I miss him!  I also talked to my baby sisters.

There are lots of labybugs in my room.

I'm probably going to Wal-Mart tomorrow! Yay!

We got a fridge in our dorm room this past week, and we hung up some cool stuff.

I think I will do some Greek homework now.

I love the springtime!  Everything is so beautiful outside, and we have all our house windows open to breathe in the fresh breezes.  It makes me so happy. : )  My car is covered in yellow pollen!

Yeah, about that last post. You see, school started and I never got around to posting until now because IT'S FINALLY ALL OVER!!  I just finished my Spanish final (ouch).  Actually, this semester went really fast and I enjoyed my classes very much, but no matter how much I like my classes, I like having them finished even better. : )

As I sat down at the computer in the computer lab, I saw something very interesting. A bright red business card is sitting at the desk with me and on the front of the card it says: "Hell is better than Heaven. Join us for a devil of a good time!" I gasped as I read it and wondered what kind of cult clubs were meeting on campus, but then I turned it over and it said: "Of course this is a ridiculous statement. You know that Hell is a place of everlasting punishment, but do you know if you're headed there?" It then goes on to tell the salvation message. While I probably wouldn't pass out anything like this, it is a real attention getter and the back of the card really is worded to really make one read the whole thing. At the end it says to go to FREEDOM at www.stonetablets.org. Hummmmmm.
